DERri ‐ Distributed Energy Resources ResearchInfrastructure ‐ is a collaborative research project under theEuropean PF7 programme between 15 partners from 12countries distributed all over Europe ‐ all partners providingleading DER expertise and exceptional and supplementaryDER research infrastructures.

The arrangement in a single organisation of a number offacilities working in the same field provides addedadvantages like: a single entry point for all potential userwith clear and homogeneous procedures, that facilitate theaccess; a better information quality and diffusion, able toreach a wider public; the possibility to have experimentaltime allocated in the facility more respondent to the specificresearch needs; and the capability of the infrastructure toaddress the User to an alternative equivalent or betterfacility, in order to optimise the booking of the laboratorytime.

DERri provides external European research communities theopportunity for transnational access to the DERri partnersresearch infrastructures ‐ free of charge.

The project's networking activities and joint researchactivities aim to reach similar condition in all the facilities, interms of common procedures, standards and interfaces. Thiswill allow to carry out research programs that involve morethan one facility, in a synchronic or diachronic way, and tocompare and exchange results obtained by differentfacilities simultaneously or independently but underanalogous conditions.
