Electronics Technician - Building and Infrastructure Systems

Apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Building and Infrastructure Systems

In the construction, real estate and facility management department at Fraunhofer IEE, you will not only get to know the diverse technical and electronic processes, but also the procedures and special features of a modern research institute. In this varied apprenticeship, you will not only learn technical know-how but also deepen your social skills. Skills such as organization, communication and working in complex structures can help you in both your professional and private life.

As part of the partially company-wide apprenticeship, we will prepare you for our building services team to support our ultra-modern new institute building at the Kulturbahnhof Kassel.

During your training, you will be involved in scientific project set-ups and become part of the fascinating research landscape for energy management and energy system technology. Vocational training with prospects.

Your Education

Generally, our trainees have intermediate diplomas, advanced technical college entrance qualifications or high school diplomas. At some of our institutes and for some professions, a lower secondary school diploma may also be sufficient for a start to your apprenticeship at Fraunhofer. Our institutes are independent when it comes to training - you can find out whether you can apply for a training position with your diploma at the Fraunhofer Institute of your choice.
