The EEG Monitoring Biomass project is intended in particular to collect data required for reporting purposes that is not covered by the data collected by the Federal Network Agency, the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, the Federal Environment Agency, and the Working Group on Renewable Energy Statistics (AGEE-Stat).
The necessary data collection for the biomass and gas technology sectors and the determination of electricity production costs are therefore to be carried out. In addition, the regulations governing electricity generation from biomass and gases in the currently applicable version of the EEG are to be taken into account, analyzed, and evaluated in line with the structure of the specified work packages.
