Green hydrogen and its derivatives such as ammonia are key building blocks for a climate-friendly energy future. The new interactive Kenya PtX Atlas, developed by Fraunhofer IEE in collaboration with the H2Global Foundation and Strathmore University, shows for the first time suitable locations for ammonia production from renewable energies in Kenya. The atlas is part of the “H2Global meets Africa” project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
